La Couleur Couture Swatches

I have all these swatches sitting on my computer, so I figured I might as well show them to you!  If you keep an eye on Llarowe's Facebook page, you may have already seen some of them.  I've got twelve polishes (whew!) to share today, including some pictures taken with my NEW camera!!  Exciting stuff, so read on!  ;)

So I don't sound like a broken record, all polishes had absolutely perfect formulas and are shown with one coat of the La CC 2013 top coat, which dries quickly and just as shiny as my trusty Seche Vite!

1992 is a soft pink-ish nude creme, and one of my favourites of the collection.  I used three coats for this swatch, and it's a perfect pink/nude for my skin tone.  I wore this for almost three days with no chips!!

1950 is a bright pink, but definitely isn't neon.  Two perfect coats.  I'm not a huge fan of colours like this on my fingers, but I think it would be a great pedicure colour for summer! 

1976 is a very pale blue with hidden violet shimmer.  Very, very hidden shimmer.  Still a stunner though!  This one is sheer, and took four coats for opacity. 

1945 is the final word in perfect red cremes, my photos don't do this beauty justice!  Two coats. 

2011 is a shimmery pale yellow, opaque in three coats.  This one just isn't sitting right to me.  The shimmer is bordering on frosty, which makes it seem very dated and not 2011 at all.  Pale yellows don't do too well on my skin.  Meh. 

1964 is a gorgeous burnt orange creme, very similar to OPI Chop-Sticking To My Story which I showed here.  I was very surprised at how much I liked the OPI, so of course I like this one too!  Two coats. 

1968 is a shimmering pastel green, but borders on frosty.  Same deal as with 2011, three coats, meh. 

1960 is a bright pink, more red-toned than 1950.  Again, great summer pedicure polish!  Two coats. 

1972 is a dusty lavender creme, I really like this one!!  Perfect at two coats. 

1963 is a bright coral creme.  Two coats, another great summer colour!  A bit brighter in person than my photos show.  

1977 is a bright turquoise creme, which sits right in that spot between green and blue in person.  Impossible to photography correctly, but so gorgeous in person!!  Two coats. 

Last but not least is 1957, a light pink with a very fine scattered glass fleck-ish shimmer.  Love this one in the photos (maybe it's the new camera) but in person it just wasn't doing it for me.  Four coats to almost-opacity, though you shouldn't have trouble getting it opaque if you have shorter nails. 

These were some of the first photos I took with my new camera over the weekend, so I'm still learning and have already gotten a lot better with it.  I can really tell the different in photo quality, I'm so glad I made the investment!!  :)

So, what do you think of these polishes?  I love that most of them are basic cremes, I always get the most use out of those polishes!!  I highly recommend this brand, perfect formulas on every one and quick drying time.  Also, if you're on the hunt for a new top coat, the 2013 top coat is fantastic!!

If I had to pick favourites, I'd first choose 1992 (pink/nude), followed by 1976 (light blue), 1972 (lavender), and 1977 (turquoise).  What about you?  :)
