Cadillacquer: Such Is Life Collection

You may remember that last month I posted about a relatively new indie brand from Switzerland, Cadillacquer.  Madeleine's brand is quickly growing, and today I've got her third collection to show you.  This is another collection of delicious glitter-filled crellies, which is called Such Is Life.

All polishes are shown with one coat of LaCC 2013 top coat.  

First is one of my favourites in this collection, Once More, With Feeling.  This beauty is a "blue base with a strong red/pink shimmer and different sized white and pastel pink squares".  The base seems more purple/periwinkle to me, but either way it's stunning!  Two coats for opacity, a tad on the goopy side but not too much trouble to work with.  

Live Free is a "light bubblegum pink base with light turquoise shimmer, small brown glitter, different sized turquoise glitter and turquoise dots".  Formula was a bit on the thick side, but workable; you're seeing two coats.  So delicate and spring-y! 

Life's Too Short is a "grey base with a strong blue shimmer, very fine rainbow glitter and small periwinkle and blueberry glitter".  I'm not really seeing the rainbow glitter in there, but I love a good periwinkle polish!  Easy formula, two coats. 

No Place Like Home is a "soft pastel white base with different colored fine flakies and pastel pink, blue, green and yellow glitter".  The formula was a bit thick; I wish that the glitter was a tad more dense and the base was a little less opaque, so that the glitters could shine through more.  However, I love the speckled look that the base has!

Tell It To The Frogs is a "cayman green base with strong blue sparkle shimmer and different sized light pastel blue hex glitter".   The first coat was patchy and a little tricky with this one, but two more coats evened it out nicely.  The larger pastel blue glitters took some work to get out, but I like the final result! 

Bring On The Night is another favourite of mine: "a black jelly base with white, taupe and green fine flakies, small turquoise and square turquoise glitter."  This one is so complex, and I'm sad that it didn't photograph very well.  Much better in person!! Fastanstic two-coater here.  Love it!

Almost done, stay with me!  This is Restless, a "light turquoise aqua base with fine holo glitter, different sized brown glitter, small dark fuchsia red and different sized matte turquoise glitter".  I applied two easy coats for full opacity.   This is such a pretty turquoise! 

Last is another one of my favourites; Where The Wild Things Are is a "smoky green/grey base with a strong yellow sparkle shimmer, iridescent glitter, different colored flakies and small silver glitter."  You're seeing two easy coats.  This is another one that is just such a lovely complex mix of flakies and shimmer, it's beautiful!
