Shimmer Polish: Lorene, Jasmine, Nichole

No April Fool's jokes here today, but I do have some swatches of a few gorgeous polishes sent my way by Cindy from Shimmer Polish!  I've got six polishes and lots of pictures, so I'm splitting them up into two posts with three polishes each; this is the first, and the second will (hopefully) be posted later today.

Before we start, all polishes are shown in one coat over a base colour and topped with LaCC 2013 top coat.  Formulas were all a little thick, but that allowed me to get lots of glitter on the nail in one easy coat!  These glitter mixes are so complex that I won't even try to start naming everything that's in each bottle, you can tell Cindy puts a lot of thought and effort into her polishes!

Lorene is a glitter mix primarily in raspberry colours; I layered one coat over OPI Casino Royale.  The base is a bit tinted in this one, and it could definitely be worn alone in 3-ish coats.  One of my favourites!

Jasmine is a lovely mix of turquoise and gold glitters in a clear base; I've shown it over LaCC 1977.   It wouldn't surprise me if this one was inspired by Jasmine the Disney princess, the colours match so perfectly!!

Nichole is a mix of red, blue, and silver glitters in a clear base;  I layered one coat over LaCC 1992.  The colours in this would make it a great 4th of July mani, although I'm Canadian.  I did, however, bring this one with me on my trip to Europe in hopes of wearing it while in either France or England, since the colours match the flags of those countries as well!  Unfortunately it got overshadowed by my new European polish purchases while there, but I'm sure I'll find another occasion for it!

Shimmer Polishes are available through Etsy and by email through the Shimmer Polish blog, and like the Shimmer Facebook page for updates.

Keep an eye out later today for part two of my Shimmer Polish swatches!  :)

My favourite here is Lorene, but I want to know which you like best!  Be nice and leave a comment, since I didn't try to prank you all!  :P

  4. Nevertheless, you might want to look at this in the viewpoint of somebody who is trying to protect the investment you may have produced.
