Lacquer Lust: Swatch and Review

Today I've got six awesome polishes from Lacquer Lust to show you!  This post is quite picture-heavy with a couple colour-changing gifs thrown in there (because colour-changing polish gifs are awesome) so read on after the jump!  :)

First up are the two colour-changing polishes.  These are so awesome!!

Morning Sunshine is a coral-to-peach shifting polish with gold shimmer/flecks throughout.  Cue gif.

Woot woot!!  You're seeing three coats with LaCC 2013 top coat.  This polish is coral when cold, and peach when warm.  The formula was a tad on the thick side to work with; I still had a bit of visible nail line with three coats, but only when it was the warm colour.

The second colour-shifting polish is called Poseidon's Envy, and it shifts from a rich medium blue when cold to a brighter cyan colour when warm.  The shift in this one is a little more subtle, but still gorgeous!  Gif time!

Same as the previous polish, three coats, tad bit thick, and LaCC 2013 top coat.  However, the slight visible nail line you see in the photos wasn't noticeable in person.  I really like the colours in this one!  Funny coincidence when I wore this polish yesterday:  my sister always wears mismatching socks, and without planning with me, she wore one blue sock and one cyan sock.  Subconsciously telepathic?  Possibly.

Next up is a beautiful nude linear holographic polish with a hilarious name: Butt Bootie Naked.  Mmmhmm.

I used two coats, which applied very easily.  One coat of LaCC 2013 top coat didn't dull the holo effect at all.  It's not the best nude shade for my skin tone, but that doesn't stop it from being super gorgeous!

Now it's time for three stunning black jelly-base duochrome-flecked holos.  Here we go!

Orion is a black jelly base with a very slight blue/teal/green colour shift, and a holo effect somewhere between scattered and linear when the light hits it just right.  This polish is the most holographic of the three, and absolutely gorgeous!

Formula was great, and you're seeing three thin coats with no top coat.

And slightly awkward bottle shot to better show the holo, since there was no sun...

Taurus is a green/gold shifting flecked polish with a scattered holo effect.

You're seeing two easy coats, no top coat.  Beautiful!

Last one!  Venus shifts from blue to purple to pink with a scattered holo effect.  The colour shift in this polish is much more prominent than in the other two, and it's stunning!

This swatch is three thin and easy coats, no top coat.  Love this!

These and other Lacquer Lust are available through the Lacquer Lust shop, and you can also find the brand on Facebook and Instagram (@lacquer_lust) to keep up to date.

I think my favourites of these would have to be Poseidon's Envy and Orion, but Venus is right up there too!  What about you?  Let me know in the comments!  (Also let me know if you like the gifs to show colour-shifting polishes!)  :P
