Pastel Polka-Dot Skittles

Today's nail art is a cute and simple spring mani I did last week, but I've got something a little different in store for today's post...

In a sudden fit of artsy-ness, I dragged my sister outside with me to take some cool nail photos, à la Pshiiit or all of those awesome Russian nail bloggers.  There's tons of them, so I'll put the rest after the jump. 

I also took normal photos, but they look so boring next to the rest so you only get one, haha  :P

For this mani, I started with a different coloured base on each nail:  LaCC 1972 (purple bottle), piCture pOlish Tiffany (blue), LaCC 2011 (yellow), piCture pOlish Fairy Floss (pink bottle), and LaCC 1968 (green).  I added the dots with a dotting tool and OPI My Vampire Is Buff, then sealed it off with a coat of Seche Vite.  

There's not much else to say about this one, so I'll let the photos do the talking.  :D

I had a lot of fun doing these photos with my sister, it was super awesome to be able to do photos different from what I'm used to!  The weather has been super nice around here the past few days, and we've actually done shoots of three different manis, haha!  

Hopefully (as long as the weather stays nice) we'll keep doing these shoots when I do nail art, I think it's fun to show my work off in a different way!  What do you think of the different style for me?  Would you be interested in seeing more posts shot in this way?  Let me know, leave a comment!
