Polish Days: The Number 5

Hi everyone!  This is my second month joining in Polish Days (my first being last month's now-famous sloth nails) and it's a lot of fun, I'll definitely be doing my best to take part every month from now on!  :)

This month's theme is a little more open to interpretation than previous times: the number 5!  As with yesterday's post, I've taken some fancy-pantsy photos of this one (with the help of my sister.) ;)

When I heard about this month's theme, I immediately thought of doing One Direction nails since my sister is a huge fan, and there's five guys in the band.  However, Saturday rolled along and I realized with slight panic that I hadn't yet put anything together!  I did this instead which I figured would be slightly faster than attempting to paint Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn, and Liam on my nails!  :P

My inspiration for this tape mani was the roman numeral for the number 5, which is V.  

I started with OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and added a coat of Butter London Frilly Knickers (which you ended up not being able to see anyways.)  Using striping tape, I blocked off the V-shapes on each nail.  I filled in the middle of the shapes with Butter London Fairy Cake, and the outside with Butter London Big Smoke.  Topped it all off with some Seche Vite, of course!
