Nerd Lacquer: Don't Blink

In light of the revelation that is to be announced in just a few short hours, I figured today was a good day for yet another Doctor Who Nerd Lacquer to keep my mind off of the constant worried excitement over waiting to find out who has been cast as the twelfth Doctor!!

Today I've got Nerd Lacquer Don't Blink to share; you can see all my previous Nerd Lacquer posts here.   Seeing as this polish was inspired by one of the most terrifying (in my opinion) Who monsters, the weeping angels, I was seriously freaked out while searching for gifs to load in here, as you can probably understand.  As River Song told us, anything that holds the image of an angel becomes an angel in itself.  I might be a little bit paranoid.

Distracting dancing-Matt gif!!  The rest of the post is after the jump.  Read at your own risk; I'm not responsible if an angel climbs out of your computer screen.

Don't Blink is a light grey crelly base flecked with white and grey matte glitters, which gives it an appropriately creepy stony look.  I used two coats for opacity, and the formula was slightly on the thick side but easy to handle.  Just be sure to keep your eye on it at all times while applying...  One coat of Seche Vite here for a smooth finish.

I'm really sorry for this guys, but you knew it was coming... Come along, Pond!

Are you sufficiently creeped out (or scarred for life...) now?  Not quite yet?  Oh, alright then.

SCROLL DOWN!  SCROLL DOWN!  QUICKLY!

Sorry, couldn't help myself.  One last bottle shot for this beautiful polish!

So this takes my number of Doctor Who Nerd Lacquer swatches up to four out of six... Don't worry though, I've got All of Time and Space and Home of the Untempered Schism to share with you soon too, to complete the collection!

Anyways... thoughts on the Twelfth Doctor?!  I'm super excited to find out who it is, but at the same time reality will start to set in that Matt Smith really is leaving in December... "Merry Christmas from the BBC, we're killing off Matt Smith!"  Thanks, Moffat.

Yet another fandom crossover WIN.
