Miss Ashleigh Polish: In The Navy, My Merlot Made Me Do It, & A Pastel Experi-mint

Good morning!  Last week I was chosen to be in the company's production of The Nutcracker; rehearsals have been going like crazy, with the first show in just over a week now... I'm hoping it'll all go smoothly!!

Today I've got a super overdue review of some awesome Aussie indie polishes!  After swatching and editing, a bunch of these photos went missing among all the folders on my computer and I couldn't find them for the longest time... And yet as I was about to revert to re-swatching them, they turned up!  Anywho, here's the first three of six stunning polishes I've got from Miss Ashleigh Polish! :)

All swatches are topped with one coat of LaCC 2013 top coat.

In The Navy is a stunning deep blue polish with a glowing blue/silver shimmer.  I'm a huge fan of navy polishes, and this stunner is no exception!

The best part about this polish?  Flawless coverage in one effortless coat.  Perfection!  Definitely a must-have for these winter months!  I've done comparison swatches of this with a few other similar navy shimmers (piCture pOlish Electric Blue, Butter London Big Smoke, and LaCC 1974,) so hopefully I'll get around to sharing that with you soon too.

My Merlot Made Me Do It is a gorgeous blackened brick-red crelly, another shade that's great for fall/winter!

Two coats for opaque coverage on this one, which were perfectly smooth to apply.  This is such an awesome vampy shade... think a much darker version of OPI Skyfall, which never quite looks black even in low lighting.  Love it!

A Pastel Experi-mint is an amazing light-but-bright shade that lies right in that sweet spot between green and blue.  A great shade for spring and summer, although I can also see this fitting nicely into some winter nail art!  This one is much more vibrant in person - it freaked my camera out, unfortunately.

Once again, two coats for perfect coverage.  The formula was a little thicker on this one, but nothing a few drops of thinner couldn't fix.  I love wearing this shade, it's a nice cheer-up now that the days are getting shorter and colder!

Miss Ashleigh Polish is available in Australia through the brand's website, and are available internationally through Norway Nails.  You can also keep up-to-date with the brand on Facebook and Instagram

It's honestly impossible for me to choose a favourite between these three - they're all so awesome!  I absolutely love it when indies do cremes and shimmers; glitterbombs are great, but I get so much more use out of these!  Which one is your favourite?

Keep an eye out for three more amazing polishes from Miss Ashleigh later this week!  :)
