Quo by Orly: Spring 2014 Collection

Press Sample

This morning I have three of six new Quo by Orly polishes to show you from the Sring 2014 Collection.  I've got quite a few Orly polishes in my collection, but this was my first experience with the Quo line and I was very impressed!  Continue reading after the jump for a full review.
The formula on all of these were smooth and easy to work with.  The brushes are a bit odd in that they appear to be super uneven at the ends, but it somehow makes application completely effortless, with almost no clean up required!  Definitely a pleasant surprise!  All of these also dry surprisingly quickly, (my left hand was dry to the touch by the time I'd finished painting my right hand!) and they dry to a beautiful shiny finish, which is why all of these swatches are without topcoat.  On to the photos!

Coral Contour is a bright coral pink creme, opaque in two coats.

Pinchy Peach is a peachy orange shade packed with vibrant golden yellow shimmer; opaque in three thin coats, although you could easily get away with two slightly thicker coats.

Birthday Suit is a pale eggshell creme with a slight purple shimmer that comes out in direct lighting.  A little on the sheer side, it's almost opaque in three thin coats, which is how I wore it.

My favourite of the bunch is definitely Birthday Suit, the pale neutral shade makes my nails and hands look amazing and healthy!  Despite the amazing shimmer in Pinchy Peach, the other two aren't too flattering on my skin tone; however, I'm sure they'd look great on anyone not quite as ghostly pale as me, haha.  I'm itching to try these three in a gradient, I think they'd blend so well together!  Which one is your favourite?  :)

Quo by Orly Spring 2014 Collection, $10 each.  Available at Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix in mid-March for a limited time only.  Quo by Orly polishes are free of DBP, formaldehyde, and toluene.
