I know that Tuesday's post is hard to follow, but I wanted to thank you all so much for the overwhelmingly positive reactions. I was honestly kind of afraid that you would all think I was some weirdo, and I'm glad it turned out that most of you are all weirdos with me! :P
On to today's post, I've got the Darling Diva Polish Back In Black Collection to show you! This collection consists of six polishes all in black jelly bases: three with chunkier glitter, and three with colour-shifting microglitter.
More photos and full review after the jump! :)
Dirty Deeds is described as various shapes and sizes of glitter and matte glitter in a black jelly base. There's such a mix in there! This is my favourite out of this half of the collection, no doubt. Not much of a surprise though, since purple is my favourite colour! You're seeing two coats of Dirty Deeds over A England Jane Eyre, and topped with one coat of Seche Vite.
Highway To Hell is a mix of various shapes and sizes of red glitter in a black jelly base. Since this was the first one I swatched, you're seeing three coats, no undies, with a coat of Seche Vite.
Thunderstruck is a black jelly base scattered with small and large silver holographic glitters. This one was a bit harder to work with, because the glitter is a lot more sparse than the others and needed some coaxing to come out of the bottle. This one makes me think of outer space! Two coats of Thunderstruck over A England Jane Eyre, and topped with Seche Vite.
One to the colour-shifting micro-glitters! These three polishes were all very easy to work with, they applied smoothly and with no issues. They can be opaque in three coats alone, but since I found that to get a little thick on the nail, I layered them all.
What You Do For Money Honey is tons of green-to-gold colour-shifting goodness in a black jelly base. I layered one coat over A England Jane Eyre and topped with Seche Vite; you can see how packed the glitter is in there!
Crabsody In Blue is a deep blue-to-purple colour-shifting beauty, shown here in one coat over A England Jane Eyre and topped with Seche Vite. The glitter in this is absolutely stunning, and it has that glowing look about it when the light hits it. Another favourite!
The last polish in this collection is T.N.T., a colour-shifting micro-glitter that goes from orange to yellow to red, and at some extreme angles it flashes green! Once again, one coat over A England Jane Eyre with Seche Vite. This one is another favourite, it's so awesome!
Overall I think that this is a very cohesive collection, and I love the thought behind it. If I had to pick a favourite it would be Crabsody In Blue, but T.N.T. and Dirty Deeds would tie for a close second! Do you agree? Which polishes are your favourites? :)
