Lacquer Lust: Everlusting Beauty, Red Light Special, & Burning the Midnight Oil

As promised, I have three more Lacquer Lust beauties to share with you this morning!  If you missed the first three, take a look at those here

Read on after the jump for more photos and a full review of Everlusting Beauty, Red Light Special, and Burning the Midnight Oil
Everlusting Beauty is a "cornflower blue linear holo with a gold microshimmer".  Unfortunately my camera wasn't picking up the shimmer, but it's definitely there!

I used three thin coats for opacity, and the formula was lovely.  It's topped with a coat of Seche Vite because I was in a rush, but it does dry to a nice shiny finish by itself.  I really love the delicate and slightly muted shade of this holo, it's so pretty!

Red Light Special is a "bright red jelly packed with microshimmers and flakies".

This shade is supposedly opaque in three coats, but it was super sheer on me for some reason so I layered one coat over LaCC 1950.  This polish also read much more pink than red for me, but the flakies and microshimmer are still just as awesome!  No complaints on the formula, and I topped it with one coat of Essence Gel Look top coat to smooth out the flakies.

Last up is Burning the Midnight Oil, a very dark teal jelly packed with gold shimmer and microflakies.

Once again, the listing says that you can reach opacity in three coats, but I decided to layer it.  You're seeing one coat over OPI Live and Let Die, topped with Seche Vite.  The formula was great, and look at the crazy amount of shimmer you get with just one coat!  The shimmer was even more noticeable in person, I really love this one!

These and other Lacquer Lust polishes are available through the Lacquer Lust shop, and you can also find the brand on Facebook and Instagram (@lacquer_lust) to keep up to date.

Burning the Midnight Oil was my pick of this bunch, but overall I think it's tied with Double Shot.  Once again, if you missed the first three you can have a look at those here.  What do you think of these?  Do you have a favourite pick? :)

Disclaimer: The products in this post were sent to me for review and my honest opinion.

  1. I actually really liked Everlusting Beauty and Red Light Special (haha at the name). How do you think the Everlusting Beauty would compare to A England's Dancing with Nureyev? The A England one seems a bit cooler and dustier to me.

    1. Everlusting Beauty is more of a cornflower blue, while Dancing with Nureyev is more of a dusty periwinkle blue! I can try to get a comparison post up if you like! :)
