I've got two more lovely polishes from Femme Fatale Cosmetics to show you today! If you missed yesterday's post on Spindleweb and Winter Hyacinth, you can check that out here.
Read on after the jump for lots more photos! :)The Other Side of the World is a sheer magenta base packed with purple shimmer, with red and pink hexes in a spattering of sizes throughout. This seems to be the magenta counterpart to Spindleweb, and it's every bit as beautiful!
First three photos are in the lightbox, last three are in direct artificial light.
Here you're seeing just one coat of The Other Side of the World (a name quite fitting for an Aussie polish!) over OPI Diva of Geneva. It's topped off with one coat of Essence Gel Look top coat to smooth out the glitters. The formula was the exact same as the Spindleweb: the larger glitters came out of the bottle with no problem, but it did require a bit of extra work to spread evenly.
Clouburst is packed with gold shimmer, small gold hexes, large purple, black and white squares, and smaller white, pink, and black squares... phew! Such a unique mix here, love it!
First photo is in the lightbox, last three are in direct artificial light.
I was expecting this to be a layering polish like the rest, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it only needed two coats alone for full coverage. The glitters were a little prone to clumping and needed some help to spread evenly, but with a patient hand when applying and a good coat of Poshe on top, it wasn't much of an issue. The gold shimmer in this is absolutely beautiful!
Femme Fatale Cosmetics can be found on Facebook and Twitter, and the polishes can be purchased through the Femme Fatale website (ships to Australia only) as well as through several international stockists.
Out of these two polishes, my favourite is The Other Side of the World; but out of all four, I'd have to say that it's tied with Spindleweb! I'm curious to know which one is your favourite... leave a comment! :)
