Shimmer Polish: Part 1

I've got SO many Shimmer Polishes to show you all; this will be the first of probably three posts, all full of glittery Shimmer goodness!

Let's get right to it, shall we?  More photos are full review after the jump!  :)
The formula on these glitter-bombs were all the same: a little on the thick side, but that's to be expected with the amount of glitter packed into each bottle.  That is, however, made up for in the perfect effortless spread of glitter (which all lays flat), no placing or fiddling with glitters here!

First up is my favourite of the bunch, Karen.  This beauty is a mix of primarily lilac glitter in a clear base, and I've shown two coats over LaCC 1972, topped with one coat of Seche Vite.

Julie is a party-ready mix of rainbow glitters in a clear base; I used one coat over OPI My Vampire Is Buff

Tracy is a golden-yellow glitter mix in a clear base.  I layered one coat over LaCC 2011, which was a great match!

Tricia is an awesome mix of burnt-orange glitters accented with different colours in a clear base.   I've layered one coat over LaCC 1964; this one just screams autumn to me!

Katie is a mix of light pink and green microglitter in a clear base, I layered one coat over LaCC 1957.  Not too fond of this one, unfortunately.

I saved this one last; here's Kim, a mix of different shades of blue glitter in a clear base.  I layered one coat over OPI I Have A Herring Problem, and I love this combination!

Shimmer Polishes are available through Etsy and by email through the Shimmer Polish blog, and like the Shimmer Facebook page for updates.

My favourites out of this bunch would definitely be Karen and Kim, what about you?  :)  Let me know in the comments!

Disclaimer: The products in this post were sent to me for review.

  1. Beautiful glitters! I think Kim and Karen are my favorites, but then again, they're all really nice.
