Polish Days: 7 Deadly Sins

I've been part of the Polish Days group for a few months now, but this is actually the first time I've ever participated.  Those who know me well will know that this mani was bound to happen eventually.  When the monthly email with the Polish Days theme came around, I knew I had found the right time.

The theme this month is the 7 Deadly Sins: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and Pride.  What did I do, you ask? 


Sloth. Well, sloths.  Yes, I drew sloths on my nails.  I freaking LOVE sloths.  They're so awesome.  Since this post is extremely picture (and gif) heavy, I'll put the rest after the jump.  And trust me, you're going to want to take a look.

For my sloth mani, I used a base of LaCC 1964, and added all of the freehand stuff with acrylic paints.  They're a little iffy, but they looked darn adroable (and the one on the right - sufficiently creepy) from arm's length.

By now you probably think I'm way past strange, and right you are!!  I just can't handle it; they're way too awesome!!  Seriously, I'm like Kristen-Bell-sloth-meltdown.  And so, I leave you with this:

    I got here via Chalkboard Nails. I was checking out the tiny thumbnail photos of everyone else's manicures, and when I saw yours in immediately thought, "Oh my gosh!!! She picked sloth!" Love it. :)

    This is amawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwzing. It beats every other animal manicure I've ever seen (way cuter than a bird or whatever), as well as being one of the few "Sloth" manis I've seen; everyone else seems to have gone for Gluttony or Avarice.

    I respect you a million times more now lol!! My friends and I all refer to ourselves as sloths, not sure now when/where/why the joke originated but we are all obsessed!! These nails are seriously adorable and amazing and I will have to try this sometime! (With proper credit of course)
